Accent Ent. was established in 1995 by Ewa Prokop and Andrzej Żakboth professional translators of English. Currently, our team consists of hundreds of experienced translators available for all kinds of translation jobs in dozens of fields.
Ewa Prokop (born in 1969) - M.A. in English Philology (University of Warsaw), M.A. in American Studies, major in: US politics (American Studies Center, UW). She is a sworn (certified) translator of English since 1998, shown in the list published by the Minister of Justice.
Ewa specializes in both written and oral translations, including - but not limited to - the fields of law, economy, real estate. She gained extensive experience in interpreting (mainly consecutive) due to her interpreting for notary publics, public prosecutors, courts (both in Poland and abroad), other state institutions, as well as for commercial purposes at business meetings, conferences, presentations.
Her leisure activities include travelling with her family, all forms of fitness, studying Italian and popular science books.
Andrzej Żak (born in 1967) - M.A. in English Philology (University of Warsaw), B.A. in Foreign Trade (State College of Shorthand Typing and Foreign Languages in Warsaw).
He is not only a co-founder of Accent Ent., but also an active translator with over 20 years of professional experience. Andrzej specializes in financial, legal and technical translations.
His personal hobbies include U.S. history, culture and politics. He is passionate about sports, particularly tennis and baseball. He has been an astronomy buff since childhood and closely follows new developments in quantum physics.
